The Real Housewives of Rogers County

Lauri Paine is from Pryor and Cindy Francis is from Claremore. They have been workout buddies for several years. This is their third time to do the Amazing Race. They almost won last year and will do their best to win this year!!!

Runaway Brides
Two years ago, Renee and Blair met while working at Bailey Medical Center. They became fast friends and a year later they decided to go back to school. They will graduate in March 2012 as ultrasound techs. While attending AIMT, both of their boyfriends popped the question. Renee is getting married September 25, 2011, while Blair’s wedding will be March 3, 2012.

That’s MY Dad/Daughter!
Steve and Savannah are a father/daughter team. They’ve lived in Claremore since 1980. Steve, a retired educator, is now a pharmaceutical courier for Claremore Compounding. Steve is married and has another daughter in addition to Savannah. Savannah is the Marketing Associate for RCB Bank. She is married and has a 3 year-old son. She is active in the community and belongs to Junior Ocieleta. Steve and Savannah both share a love of television, OU football as well as for Savannah’s son. J

The Twins
Christy and Tracy are from Claremore and love watching “The Amazing Race” on TV. They have always wanted to do it and now have the chance! They are excited about the race and can’t wait for it to start! Both Christy and Tracy play soccer, enjoy outdoor activities and love to travel.

The Glam Fairies
Becca and Courtney have known each other since they were toddlers. They have rekindled their friendship since they started working together at Community Home Health. They enjoy their weekly girl’s night with Skinny Girl margaritas. They both have a love for OU football and are borderline reality show junkies. One day Courtney hopes to fulfill her dream of running the real Amazing Race!

Hardcore Harvey’s
The Harvey’s are a husband and wife team from Claremore. They are doing the Race because they believe the Special Olympics is an awesome organization and they want to kick everyone’s butt that is competing against them! They are both very competitive and enjoy anything that challenges them. Tommy is a commercial insurance producer for Brown & Brown Insurance in Pryor and Amanda works there as a marketing analyst. Both volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and enjoy volunteering to stuff backpacks with Mayes County. They have been married just over a year and spend all of their free time at the gym and at the water. They attend church in Owasso and love living in Claremore.

The Team Ahead of You
The strength of this team is their lightning-quick decision making skill. They met and fell in love as teenagers in Montana and decided to get married a mere 23 years later. Four years ago they decide to have a child almost immediately after discovering they were pregnant. Their decision to take part in this race was made equally quickly. They heard about it several weeks ago and were already filling out paperwork, anticipating that they will send it in before the deadline! Jeff and Cindy are Denver Bronco cheering, fitness crazy, Jesus loving, apple pie eating, flag waving Americans who would love to call Claremore home, if someone would please buy their house in Broken Arrow.

The Margarita Mamas
Pam and Tami enjoy each other’s company and enjoy to kick back a few too!

The Not-So-Nimble Neely’s
With a little luck and the randomness of a nice holiday weekend with friends at Grand Lake, Ryan and Amy met. Shortly after acquainting, they introduced each of their own Labrador retrievers to the other – Bullet the black lab belonged to Ryan and Mox the white lab to Amy. Each of their boys were nearly 100 lbs of pure-bred, spoiled rotten, lackadaisical, I-don’t-know-I’m-a-dog, fluffy, loving, comfort and they immediately enjoyed the fun of a brother. The four have been growing strong as one happy family ever since. Ryan is a home-grown Claremoron ~ always business, always early, and always thriving. Amy is working on establishing her Claremore roots (transplanted from Tulsa) ~ always undecided, always rushed… generally late, however always striving. Together, a balanced pair and always smiling! Ryan enjoys golf and OSU! Amy enjoys just about anything (with the exception of clothes ironing). Both enjoy working hard, playing hard, being in good company and having community camaraderie.

Cole Butler for Rogers County Sheriff
Cole and Debbie Butler have been married 23 years and have four children and two grandchildren. They live in a log house in the woods near Foyil. Both enjoy following "The Amazing Race" on TV. Debbie works the front desk for Dr. Karen Willhoite in Claremore and Cole recently celebrated 30 years of service with the Tulsa Police Department. Cole is giving the voters of Rogers County a choice for sheriff in 2012 where he will bring his law enforcement experience and integrity to the office.

Grand Times
This husband & wife team has been married for 10 years and have 2 kids, Mason (6) and Addy (4). Travis is President of Grand Bank. Children hold a big place in their heart and this is why they decided to get involved with the Amazing Race. Travis is on the board of Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Rogers County and the United Way of Rogers County and Kristen volunteers her time to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Tulsa. They spend most of their time involved with their children’s activities. They are looking forward to some cooler weather and a fun football season.

S&P
Who is S&P? They may be older and a little Salt & Peppered on top, but S&P really stands for Staci & Phil! They have been married 18 years and have two wonderful kids that keep them on the got. They are in the race for fun, a day with no kids and to help raise money for a great cause!

Blue Bandits
They are in it to win it! Sherry and Rex have been married for 13 years – high school sweethearts, still sweet, more so Sherry than Rex. Anyhow, Sherry likes a fun challenge, tennis, aerobics and retail therapy. She is a home engineer (aka stay-at-home mom). Sherry and Rex have two kids: Ethan is 10 years old and a 5th grader and Aubry is 6 years old and a 1st grader. They are Sherry’s “world”! Enough about Sherry… Rex works at Memorial Machine a family business where he is Operations Manager and has been involved for 20+ years. He enjoys woodworking, bicycling and grilling food for family get togethers.

Mommy and Me
Tammy and Tallery are a mother daughter team competing in the Amazing Race for Charity for the first time. Their goal is to beat the Blazin’ J’s!

Blazin’ J’s
Jill and Jared are the Blazin’ J’s! They hope to blaze right on past the competition in their first year competing in the Amazing Race for Charity.
